Flower language is always so fucked up in manhwa. And often even manga.
In manhwa either illustrator or translator get the name of the flower wrong. Or sometimes both.
But even when manga is better with this, the flower language isn't global. Asian flower language isn't always the same as Western one, heck, even between countries flowers mean different things... Never mind are the flowers native just certain places.
I used to comment under B@to chapter comment sections often about these type of stuff - explaining the meaning to everyone the best I could, because many times the flower stuff wasn't even spelled out, just left ambiguous.
Even when translation and art for the flowers was right... I often had to spend time to research it and double check with the cultural knowledge I already had...
Anyway... It was a lot of time wasted and my momentary autistic internet corner. At this point I kinda hate the flower language, it could be written clever, but because it's almost as different as sign language for deaf around the word - writing shoot itself on the foot.
At least in flower language you kinda can't _accidentally_ insult anyone, unless someone is overly sensitive, and it's their own fault being sensitive about stupid thing, so in general it's harmless.
