I think he’s one of those mcs that has internalized homophobia. I think he’s liked or had a crush on mc (probably still does) and hated that he was attracted to a man, so he treats mc like shit to cover it up

This actually really surprised me. The ML is suppose to be homophobic but then...I can why other readers are angry.
