For a lot of reason. Minyeong outing him but ultimately not running after him. Minyeon never showed himself afyer that incident so Cheol thinks he has been abandoned.
Minyeong outed him, never apologized, never came back to Cheol when only one single sorry and everything could go back the way it is, even tho ofc Cheol wasn't technically abandoned, he still felt that way cus who wouldn't really, and ofc Minyeong wanting to teach Cheol that no sorry could fix such a mistake only made the situation worse
