Please give me recs where the ML grovels for forgiveness after he regrets his wrongs

What I remember is "ghostly vendetta". Essentially, the male lead severed the MC's "red thread of fate" so that they could be together in the future, but doing so caused the MC both physical and emotional pain. At the start of Season 2, the MC disappeared from the male lead's sight, even though the male lead had already apologized for his actions.
