I'm hypocritical I know, I love the MCs from Recently Insanity, Murim psychopath etc but this MC really gives me the ick.
Like eyuuck. Is it because, the mc is an insecure piss of shit, seeking validation from something external instead of working on himself internally? Makes him feel like the average guy...guys that use the gym, use their careers, podcasts all to feel something lacking within them....I don't like it.
- Hey you can dislike the main character and still love the story, personally this work is underrated, it's beautiful the way all the characters are fleshed out, they don't feel like characters but like ....human beings( what's the authors profession? Are they a therapist? A psychiatrist?) from the multiple ways these characters deal with their respective lives us beautiful writing genuinely.
Like the ones suffering from physical insecurity being those weird furries, those baby people avoiding responsibilities, how bollock broke down and picked himself up so many examples.
I loved it, it was a nice step away from my usual aura farming slop.
