Where they actually show the past first and build it up from there.. usually if it was any other manwha they would show us how evil the king is to literally everyone and then towards the end show the sad backstory to try and redeem them as a good person who had a bad childhood. It’s actually really effective stories need to do this more because if you show their story after they do something bad it seems like you’re trying to infantilise and victimise them but since you’re already aware of why the king thinks the way he does it seems more like a explanation. In no point do they try and redeem the king other than the narrative of abel which is obviously idealistic
