it’s valid to be frustrated when rape is utterly dismissed and normalized just to forge a plotline. yes people will still read begrudgingly but it’s not something they want to be made light of.
Whilst I do agree with the fact that rape should not be trivialised, I should once again emphasise that the fact that it was going to be used as a device to move the plot forward has been made transparently clear from the very beginning. It is absolutely okay to be frustrated with how many BL works out there, this one included, that uses rape/sexual assault willy nilly in their plot just for the sake of it. Heck I for one am absolutely disturbed by how many authors use this as a plot device and make light of it. But to still feel compelled to complain about this even though we are so far into the story seems hardly conducive to making authors less likely to continue writing such stories, especially on a pirating website.
With all due respect I do not understand why so many people in the comments are still complaining about the rape when it is 1 - included in the summary, 2 - literally occurs in the very first chapter, and 3 - said rapists, the MLs, are on the goddamn cover of this manhwa with Eunchong. Anyone who is still reading at this point (we are 20 chapters in) should know full well the tone that this story is going for is not some dark psychological revenge thriller and Eunchong is going to end up with one of if not both of them. I started reading this knowing full well what I was getting into. At this point if you are still hung up about what is quite literally the major (and honestly the only) plot point of the story just drop this and pick up something else I beg.
