like yes yacchan says he loves kashima, but it's in the way that he loves a family member that you lowkey hate for being perfect but can't bring yourself not to love /because/ they're perfect. the whole reason why yacchan even became interested in toono in the first place was because kashima liked him first and yacchan saw toono as almost a toy that he could take from right under kashima's nose. (obv his relationship and motives with toono changed, but he literally states that he wants to become kashima because he's jealous of him)
