It certainly did appear that way. I'm wondering if he's like interpol working with the FBI to take down the corrupt prosecuter? It's hard to follow the plot tbh, I'm not sure why they are leaving on a plane. I'm not even sure if MC loves ML or just his (absolutely insane) dick. I am guessing what is happening is ML is somehow affiliated with the US, and is knowingly cooperating with the prosecuter to take down other bad guys because the prosecuter is blackmailing him with his brother's life on the line. But the prosecuter's goal is to actually take down ML using MC. But then it's implied ML knows everything so I suspect his goal is to take down the prosecuter while saving MC from everyone. I am guessing he did not expect to fall for MC? But I imagine due to his actual job he will somehow aquire immunity for MC in the end or maybe MC will die. I have no clue. What I hope for his MC will almost die, see his past love wishing for him to live, and then live happily ever after working for ML. If he actually dies that will majorly suck.
