I think it's because in this story, being a dominant omega,which is dane's second gender, is EXTREMELY rare as the novel says, they can knock out alphas and control their pheromones, need more than 3 alphas to make them in heat, has a high chance of getting alpha babies, so most of them are being hunted and such for use, that's why maybe dane is furious if anyone finds out about his 2nd gender. Although yeah using a bottle to smack the shit outta someone is a funny but crazy move lol.
