if this author was brave enough they would have the handsome yakuza fall in love with blondie, kill/escape kei, and then have blondie not reciprocate. too many of these “dark” bl stories are afraid of keeping their straight mcs straight! i despise the “rape turned him gay/bi” ass storylines that happen because the authors wanna force a happy ending with their rapist male leads.
