I personally liked Haunted Mansion but it has been a while since I read it. From what I remember, the MC and ML were both alive at the end ?
If he actually dies just like that when nothing is resolved that just means the author dgaf abt their story lol I wouldn’t be surprised considering how the other one ended up with everyone dead and nothing done
