rereading this for like the 4th or 5th time and im still mad they keep telling the kid it wasnt her fault. even if its a kid you SHOULD tell her its serious and her actions have had consequences (someone dying) she needs to be made aware that she cant just do go out like that and if she does that she needs to stay with them and not run off wherever its just pissing me off so much. like yes she is a kid and she wont know better but thats why you are supposed to be mad and strict with them afterwards. you can be mad at a child in a good way to show them they made a serious mistake that comes with a cost. babying her and saying its all ok and not her fault is just gonna make her think she can go along later on again too (which deadass happens)
