The ending is still one of my favorite parts of the story ╥﹏╥ Euse's narration was surprisingly emotional because it felt like he was learning to look at the people around him with new eyes. Through Dillion, he began to see that the people he had known all his life were carrying entire worlds within them, worlds that had always existed beyond his notice. The way he spoke of cedric, his family, and the life unfolding before him felt so tender, as though the ordinary had suddenly become something worth marveling at. It felt like his world quietly widened, and that realization lingered with me long after I finished reading.

That said, I honestly think the whole "we're destined to be together" reveal near the end was unnecessary one of the things I loved most about the story was the idea that dillion was an outsider????? who entered a world she believed was already written. Turning it into a fated love story felt like it went against that original premise. Their relationship was already special because of the choices they made and the love they built together, not because destiny had already decided it for them. It just felt a bit contradicting and confusing how she came up with a conclusion that the world that she's in is a novel. But then again, the simplest answer is that she misinterpreted her recovered memories. The "novel" was likely her way of rationalizing memories from another life or timeline.

Still, Euse's part almost made up for it despite having so little screen time, he ended up leaving one of the deepest impressions on me. By the end, I found myself wanting to linger in his perspective a little longer. Somehow, in only a few chapters, he made the world feel larger, warmer, and more alive(/TwT)/

Same!! I've been reading this since early days of release, i thought i can't get to love this manhwa more (since i already love it a lot; honestly one of my favorite). But Euse add more emotions towards them ending. I freakin love it
