Judging from what little we’ve seen, it looked like Jehui’s mom and uncle were really young adults who were either orphaned or cut contact with their own parents.
Either way, they’re both immature in many levels (the uncle obviously being worse), and that unfortunately came at the cost of how Jehui experiences sexuality and violence as an adult
