I got the physicals of this so I do like this story, however, ngl they were just the tiniest bit weak - the alpha just wasn’t it. I liked his like backstory swell enough and his motivations for having the inferiority complex against the omega - but whatever they had going on was just not it.
in the sense that it felt like the omega felt like aggretsuko when she settled for that guy who always had a crush on her because marriage was her plan. It’s like the omega sometimes wanted and gave more and I get that the marriage thing was difficult for the alpha, but he just agitated me sometimes with his thinking and disregard of the omega - the omega being somehow more accommodating.
And their rivalry was lacking to me honestly, it felt like the alpha disliked the omega more than the other way around. Like don’t beg that mf for shit? When his brother hit on him I needed an even stronger jealousy? And it felt like he “liked” the omega but just had the most basic ass reactions and stuff. It’s omegaverse go fuckin crazy what’s this weak ass shit.
It just felt like the omega liked the alpha more, sometimes like he was begging him for the relationship and again it should’ve been the alpha chasing more.
