Well to be fair, as Kiana said, her father who had power over Melissa and manipulated her was the main perpetrator, and Melissa acted out of fear of being discovered as she grew up. That doesn't mean she should be completely forgiven but there is a level of understanding that I think Kiana has for her since she was also manipulated by the adults involved (such as the doctor). Hopefully Melissa just grows from this.
