right i dont really consume the usual dead dove work, but accusing people are pedo over fictional work is crazy. unfortunately thats just what it is today, they talk about real people like fictional characters and the characters as real. someone calling author pedo for writing when their reading list is full of stories with rape, should we call them a rapist too by that logic
I was letting this marinate bc I know dam well ppl will start tweakin about it when the sex scene appeared. Boi was I not wrong but I'm a bit surprised they also mentioned the "pedo" thing, if you read the novel and you're media literate. You won't really need an explanation to know that isn't really the case. Btw I said surprised bc it's a good thing. I wanted to see how ppl will take it and predictably enough some ppl will have negative view about it, which is pair enough. But I was surprised they brought it up after Xinlu kinda made a move on Yuri when he was drunk, I thought ppl will focus on that more. Anyways I just wanna put my thought here. ALSO I can't wait for their second intimacy scene bc both Yuri and Xinlu was so cute in itt
Edit: It's also very interesting how you guys label people here explaining what they observe based on the novel as "defending pedophiles" and immediately calling another person a horrible preditor-shotacon when you don't know if that said person is a victim. People these days forgot they're talking to another human being on the internet. I can't really blame them tho, this is how this generation is grown. But if you have it in Ur heart to defend the victims of pedophiles and groomers, then pls think first before you call someone names or put a horrible accusations on them
