They've made multiple women get flustered with and yearn for the main guy, but he's dense and hasn't picked any partner. One of the strongest women Reyna even gets nerfed to push her interest. Romance is not a Major plot point, but it is an annoying plot wrench they throw around 75% of the time a woman is on screen.
Yeah especially with the art change recently. Feels like the story quality dropped overall just to push the romance aspect. Really annoying because I was genuinely enjoying this a lot.
