So basically, I was influenced by all the comments writing about whether she should forgive the emperor or not. So I went and re-read the whole thing. And I just, I can see that the emperor was regretful. But the thing is that Fil had to change her whole personality to make herself likable, you know. When she was young and she did not know about the book and the prophecy and everything, she was, she had a whole different personality. She threw tantrums, she wanted to be spoiled by her father, she wanted her father to pay more attention to her. She was just another child, you know. But after getting the book, she had to change herself completely. And even when I look at her interactions with her emperor, it's like she has to put on a mask. She has to be all formal and polite and be something that he expects a princess or the heir to the crown to be. But with her biological family, you could see that she can let go. I'm not saying that the biological father is better than the emperor or anything. I'm not saying that. I'm not saying that he's better or not better. I'm just saying that she can be free. She doesn't have to put on a mask in front of her biological family. She can be what she wants to be. And maybe we can only hope that she'll find her own personality again, that she had to hide away, suppress, and change in order to survive in the palace. And I'm not blaming the emperor here. He was a victim too. But just because the emperor is regretful does not erase what he did to Phil. That one comment, and knowing that she was there, that one comment changed her whole outlook, her whole viewpoint. And her knowing that she wasn't his daughter on top of that, she was just a child and she got the trauma of her life. Even now, she can't smile freely. And maybe it will be a long time until she can be happy or even try to love herself. And I hope, I hope that she gets her smile back, living with her biological family. But can anyone just give me spoilers on what happens after all of this?
