Korean has one of the highest suicide rates in Asian so its more like a "normalize" thing like patriarchy and rape/sa theme in here. So they kinda has ... more idea/other perspective to explore it? Different with other countries who still think suicide is taboo topic kind of thing.
Like I understand the reasoning like how a lot bunch manga using bullying or reality-escaping as some "normalize" trope because that what their reality in the society so they have more idea, experience, history, and/or opinion on it? Like bunch of Asian medias has patriarchy theme because ... its what we daily see around? Kinda hard to explain it. Using the theme probably not in offensive way like u said. But I dont think u are sensitive, its more like we have different view on this because for u its like someone from normal household looking at some weird behaviour from someone that life in broken household.

Or do korea really just be making fun of suicide. Like not everyone has to kill themselves. I get it's normal for them. But its really insensitive to make a main character change because of suicide. Or of someone death. Maybe im too sensitive
