Yeah I dont personally think this is worth the read. It was just another yearning MC who spent years pining for the ML from childhood all the way into adulthood while the ML was out there hoeing around and later became sleeping buddies with the MC. The ML is also somewhat homophobic controlling the whole package. This definitely isnt one of those fell first and fell harder tropes.

Basically the MC was fat as a kid and got bullied for it. His best friends handsome older brother was one of the few people who was actually kind to him so of course the MC developed a crush this was back in middle school. Since he was already depressed from all the bullying he poured every bit of that one-sided love into the ML. Then the ML left for America to study which only made the MC more depressed. That was the final push that made him start losing weight. While the ML was living it up as a party animal overseas the MC was still quietly yearning.
Fast forward to university boom the MC is now thin and handsome. He runs into the ML again things happen and they end up in a friends with benefits arrangement. The ML is an absolute controlling freak who gets jealous over any interaction the MC has with other people but its totally fine when his own hoe ass interacts with whoever he wants. Tn a second ML shows up things get worse the ML becomes even more jealous they argue mostly the ML and finally the arrangement ends. The ML is sad mainly because he cant sleep with the MC anymore he has insomnia and apparently tried sleeping with other people but only sex with the MC works. Meanwhile the MC is depressed convinced the ML hates him. He was already insecure and dealing with trauma from his past the ML leaving for America the first time was the last straw so hearing the ml is gonna leave again makes mc even more depressed
Things happened nd the MC eventually runs away after telling his best friend the truth. The ML figures out he went to his parents house follows him confronts him and finds out about years of unrequited love. Hes speechless takes the MC back and suggests they stay together but only if the MCs feelings are gone because the MC keeps saying hes moved on. At this point you might think the ML has finally figured out his own feelings but no. He only realizes and accepts it after even more chapters when he discovers the MCs self-harm and has the groundbreaking thought of why does this bother me so much must be love. And this was supposedly the chasing arc. Spoiler there wasnt any real chasing. What they called the chasing arc only lasted about 4 to 6 chapters and the ML was still an asshole for like 90 percent of the manhwa.
After the MC confesses and asks him to stop confusing him the ML finally admits he likes him around chapter this was like at the end of the manhwa btw ig 59 or somethingish. They get together but apparently theyre not officially dating yet. Later during a casual talk the MCs best friend mentions that the ML is going back to America. The MC gets sad because the ML never told him nd he has trauma regarding ml leaving him. He waits another week. Still nothing. Then he overhears the ML talking to some girls who asked for his number and the ML says he wont be around here in the future. The MC gets even more upset and finally confronts him. The ML makes a joke out of it and says hes only going for one week. The MC asks him to officially date and they do.
But on that final night its kind of ironically funny how the ML swore he wouldnt hurt the MC again yet he didnt even bother telling him about the trip to America while he casually mentioned it to random girls who asked for his number. Especially when he knows full well that the MC has trauma tied to him leaving for that exact country twice the MC even ran away because of it and the ML still treated it like a joke until he was forced to explain.
To me the ML is the epitome of a self-centered unlikable person with basically no redeeming qualities. Even though the second ML was kinda creepy hes still miles ahead of the main ML because the bar is in hell. Im not some puritan but the fact that the MC stays a virgin with zero dating experience while the older experienced ML is allowed to have a whole sexual life even after their break and even if its just checking yet the MC has to stay pure and gets shamed just for interacting with someone who might be interested in him is honestly ridiculous. Only one of them is allowed those things I guess.
Anyway at least the MC seems happy in the end even if the ML really wasnt worth all that hassle.
