The raws thing isn't, it's funny that you're kinda proving my point by misreading my post.
The literacy crisis is very real, however in the case of raws uploads it doesn't seem to be the culprit, because they appear to have changed the upload form. So this is just fully on mangago
The fact that you haven't noticed that it is indeed a crisis, showing in everyday life, is what is wild to me.
Reading is a crisis, sure, I never said it wasn’t. But messing up a chapter upload isn’t. Maybe go to school or smth before acting like a smartass lol.
Reading is not a crisis, reading properly is "in" crisis. Ironically, I had to read improperly to read your username.
When it first started, I checked out the uploader form to see if uploading as raws was super convoluted or confusing, but it's not.
You only need to click a checkbox that's pretty much labeled as "check this box if it's raws". Which is really easy... if you can read.
But if your eyes are glancing over the rules for uploading, already committed to not reading the whole page, they're gonna skip over the checkbox too.
Can't believe I even have to say this, but this is not an attack on the uploader. You can be very nice and sweet and also bad at reading. Being bad at reading is also not a moral failing.
I'm just saying there's a pattern emerging in this, our age of brainrot
