Okay, basically, I don’t understand the hate toward the second father (bio dad). It wasn’t his fault that he didn’t raise the FL because he didn’t even know he had a child. I know he can be a bit pushy about wanting her to stay, but it’s his first time being a dad. When he finally found out he had a daughter, he had already missed all of her big steps and milestones, so it’s no wonder he’s clingy and wants her to stay with him. After all, he genuinely loves her. Although, yes, he should still respect the FL’s choices.
As for the first father (stepdad), didn’t he order his oldest son to kill her in her first life? Although, yes, he is better now and doesn’t seem to dislike the FL anymore, that doesn’t change the fact that he ordered his son to kill her and her brother in her first life. I suppose they did try to harm the oldest brother, so I can understand why he would want them punished, but I still don’t understand how a father could order his own son to kill his siblings.
Like, life in prison, sure, but death at the hands of their own older brother? Wouldn’t the oldest brother hate himself afterward or have some kind of trauma because of it?
What I’m really curious about is whether the first dad was controlled or somehow forced to make that decision. In plots like these, that often ends up being the case. I know the oldest brother did love his sister (not romantically), but he still killed her, so was he controlled too, or did he do it simply because his father ordered him to?
I don’t remember if they ever explained that, and I’m wondering if he truly just killed her because she had done something wrong in her last life.
I don’t really have a favorite when it comes to the dads. It’s more like I just wanna properly understand their actions. I love them both because they both genuinely love our FL which makes me happy because she deserves happiness. I just hope they can all eventually live together because they both clearly love her deeply.
