i feel like angel's love for remi mirroring her love for emi is what made his love get through to her. every confession he ever had for her sparked that connection between them. it's a more subtle kind of love that i understand comes off as forced because the story sidelines their romance and focuses on remi's self love born from emi's love for her and vice versa.
I think you just like yuri dude. I saw how the love they had for each other was more like sisters/twins that cared the most for each other and would die for each other.
This would have been PEAK doomed yuri. If not those two, I honestly don’t think it should have ended with romance at all, if anything. DONT GET ME WRONG I honestly do love Angel and I think he’s very sweet, but it just kind of feels shoehorned in to bring Emi (and OG Pina) back. But I think it would have been fine for it to have ended with Remilia not ending up with anyone romantically and seeing Emi in a more-than-platonic light at the very least even if they can’t be together.
I could have been okay more if their relationship was more expanded on and it was more of Remilia moving on from Emi, but it wasn’t really like that at all. All of her emotions and decisions were tied to Emi, even down to the acceptance of Angel’s proposal so it felt off
