What in the Stockholm syndrome pretty privilege hell is this ?! The story is getting less and less coherent. I think the author bit off more than they could chew with this premise, because the complete lack of any real turning point, redemption, or payoff is astonishing ! The way the story is unfolding through these short chapters that just jump between sex scenes and a messy mission plot, without ever properly addressing what happened or actually developing their relationship, only to suddenly have them acting like lovers as if that’s a natural progression…??
The whole “hot enough to make you forget the atrocities” effect is REAL ! Apparently, having a face card is a valid redemption arc now...
