Ross is not going to die. The goal is still to take him alive, so Jake shot him at non-fatal spots: wrist to disarm, then shoulders and thigh to incapacitate.

Noooooo! I wasn't expecting Ross to die. I was hoping he'll run away to drag the story to a new season! Beside the corrupt CIA girl boss, all the vilains died. Does that mean this season is the last one?!?!?!?! Please no!
