Who else here thinks blondie might have ‘infiltrated’ the brother’s side to somehow spy and hit the brother from the inside but he knew martina would have never agreed to it so he decided to break her heart and make her think he betrayed her? Also because he knows that if he stays by her side his feelings will grow and because she can’t possibly marry him because of the difference in status it will hinder her path to the throne so he did what he thought was the only thing he could still do for her, go to the brother’s side and betray him at the last moment when martina can finally get rid of her brother even if it puts blondie’s life in danger. Or am I delusional and naive haha
