I don't think Shin is monologuing to reminisce. They need him alive (they explained it a few chapters back). That's also why Jay doesn't shoot at vital spots at the end (from what I can tell).
Good call out, but my point still stands: shoot out his knee caps and break his hands while he’s still trying to process that immense amount of pain. Conversation isn’t necessary, it’s one of my least favorite tropes lol
As I live and breathe I adore Shin, Jay, and everything about Shutline.
But what the actual fuck is wrong with Shin. If you kill my sibling I’m not wasting the energy it takes to spit on you, let alone reminisce- unload the fucking clip into his face, you dumbass!
Author is clearly aiming to force tension to push the relationship to a climax, but it doesn’t make me any less irritated.
