They could have at least waited till the next chapter to have sex.. we can't even just have kissing- GIVE ME ANY BUILD UP
right like I’m not one to pass up on a well done smut scene, but this just feels so out of character for them, there was barely any emotional or romantic tension built up to justify them suddenly jumping to third base, and it feels especially jarring when the entire appeal of this manhwa is its slowburn romance and the way the plot develops through their character dynamics, the gradual buildup is what makes their relationship so appealing, but it feels like the author threw the plot out the window for the sake of a (rushed and almost awkward) smut scene. If the scene had actually been warranted through their existing tension and progression it could’ve been so good, it just feels lackluster and disconnected from the entire story, would’ve been perfectly fine if it was just left at a makeout sesh at most

Not complaining about the smut, I don’t really care. But I feel like it was so out of nowhere. I’m not sure if this is just me because it’s been a while since I’ve read this, but I feel like there should’ve been more romantic buildup until they had sex. Or maybe they could talk more about their feelings for each other, considering that John kind of just “admitted” that he values black hair guy(forgot his name already) more than mcee.
