it’s a cultural thing !! in korea and japan at least, u usually call someone by their lastname and not given name. when u know eachother better u usually say both or add an honorific after their name. u only call someone by their first name only when ur family or in a relationship basically <3
I really dont get this "call me by my name" and then blush the tomato out of it thingy like them in this chap... like— for me, the only time that I'd blush or got so slushy is when my bf call me by my name WHEN HE'S ANGRY. Like heck I would like to pay to hear him call my name so seriously with the look but then i just want to be naughtier than i did before (▰˘◡˘▰)
