made it to chapter 75 and i’m only now coming to realize that the MC is going to be in hell no matter how this ends
the ML is a psychopath/sociopath, there is no way his behavior will change. i ended up googling cuz i was hoping there’d be some chasing arc where ML is pathetic and somewhat gets what he deserves but that’s just not gonna happen. the ML is truly evil and even in other BL’s i’ve read, despite it being unrealistic, characters with same sociopathic tendencies were able to gain some sort of caring/empathy for their partner. but this story is just gonna remain dreadful and toxic, i regret making it this far into the story without knowing this. just terribly doomed and tragic, i truly hate ML and if there’s side stories i hope he gets some sort of karma.
