And you know what really infuriates me? That author decided to use this trope in that season. This dirty, illogical, suffering, almost rape, violence, pain trope. And I highly assume it's just for the sake of money because lately authors often tend to force their own characters into this dark sides for more engagment of readers. All of us would have still read new season even if it were about their everyday life and some wholesome love moments, family stories and what so ever. But no, we got this bullshit.
And what also rlly infuriates me the most is that Cherry Blossoms was one of the rare manhwas so many people did read for a long time and had attachment to the characters. We grew so close to them. It was going on for years and is one of the most famous manhwas almost everyone of us did read.
After all that love that we gave for them and after all of these years, just to shit on readers and characters for the sake of what?!
I personally will never be able to reread it in the future because it's ruined. Now every time when I will hear about this manhwa my first thought will be not any nice moment from the first 4 seasons but all of those awful moments from season 5.
I still remember how everyone was freaking out when we got nc17 scenes and how we were hyped for their character evolvement and their relationship . So I will never accept this season. I just wanna let it be finished because my heart aches for Haebom.
MB someone would say I am overreacting but that's just how I feel. I grow attachment to characters I like and can't stand bullshit like this. It would have been different if this manhwa would have been this dark from season 1, but thats not the case.
