For sure same with the writing in the sensd that I'm always tense while reading a chapter. Like you can feel the anxiety.
You know this is such a great example of pretty privileges and captor/captive dynamics. The fact that Park is the perfect and most realistic representation of a Black Flag and yet being so beautiful that he bypasses people's defences because no one doubts a pretty face is what I like about this story even though it's one of darkest take on this theme out there. And I love how Kwon isn't portrayed as 'falling in love' but instead 'my body is learning to bend to his presence', which I genuinely believe a lot of captive/revenge stories fail to do. You know it's toxic, and yet the realism is so good in this one, no captor or post trauma human is going to treat the target of their hatred with lovey-dovey things people expect in such genre. Sadistic Beauty did it for me, and now WIMS is just another great one. It's sick but it is really done right, for me, this is what I expected when I'm getting into a toxic story.

Thank god, finally someone out there who understands true dark psychology stories instead of 'I don't like this, it's uncomfortable, I hate it here, you are sick if you enjoy it', like this isn't happening in real world just as well, and you just want a sugarcoated MC/LI at the end, like what part of this being under a black flag, psychological tag did you not understand
