Yeah exactly! Like it was still a shitty thing for MC to sell them out, but it wasn't the end of the world. He could've done so much worse. He made the team what it is and he ended it too. It wasn't an easy decision for him either. But seeing as no one had the best interest of ML in mind, his FRIEND, he stepped up and did the best he could as a teen to take care of him (even if it was against the person's wishes). You can't make me hate him or think he did something so bad ppl want to kill him.
Maybe they all should've been better players!

i support him (maybe because this is fiction irl idk how i would feel) lol was it a shitty thing to do??? for sure. but as he said he had a weak team that probably wouldn't amount to anything anyway, and it was the best way he could protect his best friend from getting seriously injured and still maybe be able to keep playing baseball in the future. i thought he had ratted his teammates out over the drugs or some shit like that. but no. he also fucked himself over not just his teammates.
and no i don't think this is enough of a reason to want to kill someone sorry.
maybe i'm biased but i dont get all the hatred for what a teen did to help someone, even if it was misguided. if his teammates were good, this wouldn't have been the end of a career i dont think. idk idk
