So… if I understand everything properly… Osiris and Seth were lovers before Seth had his awakening as a god which resulted as him forgetting his past relationship with Osiris. Since Osiris already had his awakening he remembered all and held on into (probably) the promise Seth made that they continue their relationship or something. However, he fell for Nephthys and married her. I guess Osiris humored Seth and let him get married while he married Isis (probably that she awakened as a god around the same time as Seth and forgot that Seth and Osiris were together). Since Osiris still loved Seth (though it’s obsession at this point) he enchanted the mirror so Seth would have been forcefully in love with Osiris again unfortunately it’s Nephthys who used the mirror and that’s why she cheated on Seth. Which later on lead to the event of the now current story.
Honestly, Seth is the main victim here… I don’t excuse what he has done to humans when he got the throne but I think he’s also the one who’s still suffering the greatest (I’m biased and I can’t bring myself to like Isis – too much of a coward for me personally ) with Anubis (my sweet baby…). Osiris knew that when a god awakened it’s like becoming a new person entirely. He’s being unreasonable, petty and cruel over something he knew would happened (sincerely hope he dies no matter what )
I really hope that destiny can be changed so Seth doesn’t disappear on his own because of heartbreak. But I’m sensing a bad ending honestly (I hope I’m wrong) so my last hope is reincarnation where everybody is happy and Seth not raped anymore
