As a curly head, girl what. I’m assuming since curly hair isn’t the norm in Japan, she never learned how to style or take care of it. And since she doesn’t know how deal with curly hair, she opted for a grandma-style cut and wig. There’s so many things she could have done to manage her curls, heck even straightening it would’ve been better than her current hairstyle (she has a complex about her curls, people make fun of her for it e.g. the man at the station calling her a grandma and saying it was a shame (grown man btw)). P.S., I’m not saying she shouldn’t have her hair short, just that since she’s so self conscious about it that there are plenty of things she could’ve done to manage her curls before going the short route!
It was a sweet story and it was nice that they liked each other AND their respective complexes, but it was gonna bother me (not really but a little) if I didn’t acknowledge it.
