Maybe I read too much into it considering the author always has a reason on why they do something. I thought it meant that Garam pain and anguish of the professor is no longer there or least accepted to live along side with it. Like that's the least expected thing that the author would forget, lol

I don't think she forgot about it at first. Either she just didn't draw it because of the glow, or it was hj pov. It could be any.
