I've read up to chapter 39 and while I read stuff like this I usually play music and then when I reached that one page of Maru telling Eden about how his father missed him and his mother and Eden shedding a tear anything by Adrianne Lenker started playing and I just straight up sobbed. This is absolutely heartbreaking for me since I'm very empathetic and imagining myself in Eden's realization of his "father" not being his actual father is so fucking messed up oh my God.
