I much prefer resurrection over reincarnation, regression, or being reborn into someone else's body. I dislike body-swapping because I want the actual victim to enact their own revenge, rather than an outside reader taking over. I am particularly not a fan of regression, where protagonists hate characters for crimes they haven't committed yet..it ruins the satisfaction of revenge when the targets are completely clueless about their future actions. Resurrection, on the other hand, hits the spot: the sins have already been committed, and everyone involved actually remembers what they did.
