THANK YOU!! the author made juheon react completely within his character setup to finding out about dohu’s bl writing, and dohu’s reaction was in character as well!! there would be no point to making their relationship smooth sailing because they haven’t reached the conclusion to their character development within the story yet. this is what a drama/romance story with plot is meant to be - there’s no payoff without setup and conflict. if people want insta love and smut there’s plenty of other options lol
Imma be honest here, I don't know bout u guys but if the author HAD sped up through this crucial arc and made them get together pretty early, then it all would have been for nothing. I mean we knew from the start that Juheon WAS GONNA know about Dohu's bl writing and Dohu 'using' him. This season is gonna be the season for THEIR development alongside past obstacles. I mean sure, its slow and long but thats what makes it immersive for me. Look at it from a different POV. If they had gotten together fairly early in this season, then some readers would have said that they RUSHED into the relationship and there was no slow burn or development. Critics are everywhere. And in my pov, if they had gotten into a relationship early, then it wouldn't be as realistic and flawed as many irl relationships are. I mean hypothetically speaking, I don't expect Juheon to get back with Dohu pretty fast even though Juheon had lingering feelings for Dohu because Dohu made him feel used AND broke his trust, no matter how little the situation may be. I mean...the trust starts to fall apart. And now, Juheon will have a development and grow the trust he had with Dohu again before, naturally and slowly. Just telling yall my POV so you guys might find the reason behind this pace. The PLOT is there and is being used greatly. Feel free to drop yall's opinions!!!
