as much as I love poly, roger loses out so much it’s genuinely unfair. he’s blind in one eye bc of the duke, his mom died due to the house fire the prince orchestrated, branded as a traitor and tortured as well… crocetta would be a fucked up as person to allow the duke and prince to ‘share’ her affection. roger doesn’t deserve that.
(ofc crocetta also deserves a better ending like not being around people who caused her pain and to have trust issues)
