You know what...

I think this current storyline is actually great, but the main issue is that, not only did the author give us something so different at the beginning, but they showed us our boys being happy and healthy. If it started this dark and then they showed us their "happily ever after", we all would've loved this.
The story is well written, the only reason we feel it "drags on" instead of just being a slow burn, is because there was already fire before. It doesn't help that most people don't like the idea of anyone going back to their ex, either in comics or real life, and here we all are cheering on a pair of exes.
It "drags on" because we need to wait every week just for them to still not be in love again, every single time.
And I get it, I'm also desperate

And the updates are every 10 days rather than a week making it feel even longer

every piece of media in the comic genre is gonna drag on when its a weekly release schedule i dont think people understand that. they preach that authors need breaks than bitch about things taking too long. reality is, if this was a chapter book wed still be within the first 10-15 chapters of the 3rd book. these episodes arent that long. people just impatient

Yeah, but I don't think the problem is that it drags on, it just feels like the author had the idea for one story (which was the beginning), but then, when that was completed, just started another story with the same characters. It's like it set up the expectations for one thing with like an ending, but then took the "only" misunderstanding left (him starting off their relationship with not so pure intentions (altho that can be kinda debated)) and spinned it off into another story

I feel like if this was a book like feather was saying, it would be like the second book or something bc it just feels like a totally different thing and probably that drastic of a change doesn't really translate well to manwha/webtoons

    BUT THAT'S JUST MY OPINION
