I think the author cut it short because of the complains, I think it was supposed to be longer with more drama, with the ml without memories discovering his feelings and etc
No one has time for all that. We have busy lives!
I mean yeah theyre right at where they were, i think the purpose the arc had whatever it was it wasnt exactly sucessfull, i actually just got stressed and confused over it, i just think it was unnessesary seeing it did nothing on the plot
