ykw i hadn't thought about it till i read your comment, but i think the author might write some arc about haruki letting go of potential trauma he's been holding in about the kinds of shit his body was made to endure (in a sexual context esp) by those bullies in this arc, since they brought back that rapist character as the fujo's ship pair for haruki, and this is the first time the author's brought back past arcs like this.
