Honestly? Disappointed. I needed this fl to be stronger than this. She made me believe she had a quiet strength to her, but she literally just lets herself be stepped on. I can only love these toxic ml’s when they get what’s coming to them and have to suffer in the end full of regret, or they change or grow -like something! But this story just hands each character what they want and in my opinion, it just isn’t earned, and therefore not satisfying. The beginning was promising, but no, this just was so whatever by the end man.
