Braun is summoned as the 'Good Friend ' through that pink bunny with a ritual. He hides the Silver Serpent Coin (Main) causing MC to lose his potential 'Third' hand. He helps out MC with his abilities in times of need, especially the 'Lightd Out' ability to hide his presence whenever needed. Braun had also did that for MC's collegues and so, later on when MC's memorial popsocket broke in an incident with the Dragon Mascot, when he could, he would rely on Braun and as compensation gifted him a bathtub from the Alien Shop. Oh, and also, MC was predicted to be deceased on Jan 2nd by his former colleague Assistant Manager Eun Haje (that lady who decided to resign) a former journalist with a past, who was working for Director Ho, one of the ExEcutive Officers of DayDream Inc. In a washroom, a guy with bad intentions went to stab him, but hit the plush instead, leaving him in a critical condition. MC fortunately uses his own blood (Mind You) and saves his life, but things take an unexpected twist.
Braun drags MC inside his World and makes him work there for a month. MC works without eating, drinking, sleeping or any biological needs. Baek Saheon checks up on MC only to get STRONGLY CONTAMINATED after coming into contact with TV guy. He was searched by the company for an entire month, then pronounced as dedd. Lmao.
Btw, the ones who rescued him were his very same Former Team D-Rank Squad, including Lee Jaheon, whose identity is supposedly an alien, working for the Coalition Government. Their D-Squad became an elite one under Director Cheong under MC's request since Park Minseong had been contaminated in the 'Hangman' case, as in following the rules to the T as a teacher. MC goes undercover as a spy under the Disaster Management Bureau, who are still comparatively humane and have an enemy dynamic with Daydream Inc. The researcher, Kwak Jaekang, is Presumed (unconfirmed in my case) to be a Church Worshipper cultist, who worships Darknesses and gain corresponding abilities from them. Also, Braun lets MC leave his World with the condition that he makes his journey interesting and fresh, it's just crazy how he knew which items MC uses and sabotages when required. His persuasion ability and speech makes one contaminated very quickly (As in, a good Scammer) Till where I read, MC gains A+ grade Dream Essence with a particular sheen after returning from that place as a merch. There's also a Fox Councelling Center where one can get their mental health check up, but it's actually related to Director Ho.
MC also establishes connection with Ryu Jaekwan, a Senior Operative from the Disaster Management, to whom he had secretly given that Blue Dragon Churros for research purposes. It seems that it has the effect of vomiting out contamination, as in the case of MC, when he was trapped in that place (the stabbing incident) and Go Yeongeon who was in the train with MC in the beginning and had been contaminated not for too long when she was found by MC in the 'Lucky/ ??LOOKY MART??' case where all victims who failed to leave in time would either become 'supplies' or staff ppl.
Huh why's everyone excited for the TV man to appear again?
