Actually daphne wasnt the bad guy at first she just wants to return to her world thats why she keep following the "storyline" where she needs to marry the crown prince but she was trapped by rishar's attachment to her that keeps her soul inside the novel she regressed 1000 times already that she went mad crazy and killed everybody which results to her regressing over and over the repeating cycle awakened the ML earlier that rishar he can now also remember some of the timelines that repeated but iirc his awakening was much later than rishar's so he will remember later on in the story if its confusing its bc rishar regressed on the party where ML was asking daphne to take him back but ML regressed time was much later but in the repeating timeline ML regressed first than rishar bc daphne regressed 1000+ times but rishar only 49 times ML regressed much more than rishar so in the present timeline when rishar decided to pursue the ML it will also result to him finally letting go of daphne so she can return to her world honestly i think daphne transmigrated inside a BL novel but didnt know so she keep marrying the ML and making rishar fall for her instead without knowing she's actually disrupting to original storyline
