As someone who has read the novel, the story is very fast paced so im not surprised how fast everything got adapted in the webtoon. But its way too fast that some of the transition became confusing, its one scene then another. Idk if thats how they made it or there were missing panels in the upload, but then again manhwa adaptations tend to cut out things to make do with the limited space. Guess thats just how it is.
I guess i should be glad its getting a full adaptation, this series is so long I hope it continues to get adapted. Although ngl I do feel a bit disappointed some of the character designs, I guess because most of them look too humanoid? Its a personal problem honestly, i get it they are beastmen they are gonna look human. But lowkey, they just look like any other human. ABXBHS what did it for me was when Muller got introduced, he is a rat… but he looks just cute lol. Not saying he can’t but i really don't see the rat aspect on him. I don’t wanna say this but…ts same face syndrome for a lot of characters.
So anyways, i do think new readers might fail to get immersed in the story cus of the pacing, and design i genuinely recommend just reading the novel. Because there are some interactions between characters that get cut out, so its better to go for the novel. (Just don’t ask me where tho just google it lol. )
