they could've pulled this off just by communicating with the right person. everything was good from the start, but as it drags on, it somehow pisses me off how she always think that they wouldn't believe her, and then makes her own decisions that would probably just make the whole situation worse. (communicate with the right person, y'all) now, they're on the run instead of simply communicating with the detectives and letting them digest the case together rather than trying to solve it themselves. them trying to solve it on their own didn't help at all because it just made the whole situation worse. they're both victims, yet somehow, what they're doing makes them look suspicious as hell. no one would argue if they were labeled as the suspects atp.
